Drop Off’s with Park City Compost:

We do NOT accept drop-off at our Captain’s Cove site for the moment. The only exception is if there is an EMERGENCY, we require you to contact us beforehand (via email, our website, or social media) and we will coordinate to meet you there and ensure the material is promptly mixed to avoid pests.

You can drop off food scraps at the Farmers Market of Black Rock from 9 am to 1 pm at St. Ann’s Field at 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport Connecticut from June to October. You can also stop by here to learn more about compost and Park City Compost Initiative’s mission.

We are in process of establishing drop off sites at other farmers markets in Bridgeport.

Although we are offering free residential pick-up based on volunteer help at the moment primarly in Black Rock and the West End, our long-term mission is not to become haulers. If you are interested in volunteering with pick-up please reach out to us.
